here come some shenanigans ...

So here are some things from the past couple weeks.
ENJOY :)

You are up until 3am the night before driving 7 hours . you are exhausted. you and the 5 other people with you are sleeping at a friends place (i am that friend )
he gives you a couch , futon , air mattress , and one person takes floor. everyone gets in sleeping bags, and not a single sound before a snore. the room is extremely quiet.
Although you are sleeping you don't realize the sun is just eating its cereal and waking up . its 6am . beep beep - beep beep - beep beep . thats when Yann wakes up .

i must warn you here. the story is different from here on out . only because i took out all the swear words. i think we can agree before 8am being woken up unexpectedly sometimes brings new vocabulary out

… Who's cell phone is that , who sets if for 6 am on a saturday im going to kill whoever phone that is , i swear im going to smash it .
he was yelling pretty loud woke up everyone sleeping , probably the neighbours below us and starts moving bags, and searching around the apartment for this phone.
after making a giant ruckus and stomping around the apartment . finally he used his echo location (more yelling) and found the cell phone.
it was really good he knew how to stop the alarm rather than smashing the cell phone. especially because it was his phone the entire time .

good times .

I enjoyed some time with my grandparents cousin and uncle. we had a beer and then I was off to mee the ontario crew for a race. not the downhill longboarding kind though. this was go karting at its best.
The cars were the fastest i have ever seen . like. nerve crushingly fast. its indoor and the floors are waxed like a serene lake . yea it was slippery . pretty fun so for not much money i jumped into a cart and did the last race with four of they guys. wow what a time. i don't think we stopped smiling for a second all laughing and smashing like it was bumper cars. taking great passing lines and sometimes just swerving around to block everyone else cause it was hilarious. the guy waves the flag "FINAL LAP FINAL LAP . " conveniently all five of us are together and gun it around the first few corners . 2 - 3 cars wide in some of the corners , then we come into the first to hairpins . all of us with our own strategy. braden taking inside jakoop with the middle line and me with the outside waiting for them to crash so i can take the inside of the next corner. and thats when all three of our karts connected together, none of us can turn at all now, and SMASH thats the wall . at this point we are laughing historically. noone can believe this happened we all had it planned so well in our heads yet anything can happen. and cause we hit the wall and were all stuck , go karts have no reverse so we had to have the staff come and untangle the karts and stuff . so funny . as we are untangled noone takes off on the gas we all waited. as soon as the last kart is free 123 GO we take off and finish the lap bumping , fish tailing and flooring it all around the track.

this made me really stoked to get in on this so thank you ontario crew for an awesome weekend with some great experiences, encore

Having my grandparents was great we spent some time going around montreal checking out where my grandfather grew up for a while and it was quite interesting to see the places and hear the prices on these buildings now compared to the small amount it cost originally. we were lucky enough to have the owner of one house there to tell us about how the house is now and what its worth , and at the second building it was rather amazing to see the real estate lady standing there to give us lots of information and chat about the building now . no timing could have been better.
I also took my grand parents to a look out on the mountain that they had never seen before. i was completely excited to show them the beautiful night view across the downtown and south of montreal, you can see the towns and districts on the south shore from there quite amazing . huge view

The sunday that just passed i took a road trip with niko who rides for kebbek longboards and Ludo who rides for Rotule longboards.. we went to vermont. chatting and laughing the whole way there and back . the skating was phenomenal i don't care what anyone says. the east coast riding is really rad if you know where the hills are . we decided to ride a mountain pass that has two sides one is 4.2 km and the other is 5km hair pins and fun corners all kinds of great terrain and only a few cars all day. fantastic. :) it was really great riding with ludo and niko here. we went to five different runs one of which was at a camp ground where the guy said we could skate in the park as long as we all payed 3 dollars. how could we say no ? sooo awesome . soooo fun . thanks to will for showing us some fun stuff in your area :)

summers hear, WHAT did you say ?

So here we are. Or here i am .
Its been 4 months
I'm still loving what I do for work.
I've got a great family of friends in montreal
and on July 1st i get my new apartment.

Where do we begin. About 30million years ago when the dinosaurs roamed, there was no apartments. BUT NOW things are great in montreal, especially because we have no dinosaurs.

For the past 4 years since i moved out of London I have had , fun , wild , crazy (sometimes insane) , and weird roommates .
I lived in one apartment for a whole year with Scott at one point. Otherwise I moved every 6 months ish . In 4 years i have lived at 7 different addresses (and at one point in my car for a short period) . Pretty crazy huh ? Aside from the drama, there was always a smile on my face and lots of fun to be had. Only making better friends in barrie and still going to work.

For the first time I am going to own MY own apartment. I am very very excited about this. I have a huge apartment and the price is so good. Its a couple blocks from my work and very close to all the metro systems. This is going to be a good year (and hopefully longer if i like the place )

Skateboarding : its good and stuff .

So Montreal has some amazing skateboarding inside and out. I've been doing alot of traveling with my awesome Friends. Some of which this weekend are Ludo , MGR and Dmitri . This is the best skate crew i could ask for on a road trip. We are going to pensylvania. Wooo hooo . I have only been there once in my life and i just drove right through it. This time its going to be fun. We are going to a race called The Mustache Derby . If you wish to race you MUST have a mustache, absolutely mandatory (thats right dad you would be allowed to race with us ) . prizes for winners and participation, but also prizes for best REAL and FAKE mustache . Ridiculous .

On another note this weekend (and for a while ) I can be proud to say i will be riding for a few sponsors! The Escarpent Surfers , Moon Pucks , Team Quebec , and KEBBEK! This is really exciting for me to receive some stoke from my fellow riders and companies surrounding us. Woo hoo (go buy their stuff )

anywhom. I will write something really awesome about the last three weeks while on my trip and you can get a good laugh out of some of the things I've been through

love you all

Read This Twice

Words of advice :
Its a great thing to have a presentable front door, but if its not unlocked you can't let opportunity in .

I was on a skateboarding adventure with my good pal MGR and the advice he gave me was really great , his father told him this and I'm glad he could pass it to me.
"until you are 30, these years are diamonds, don't burn them" and its true, when you are in these years your life is literally shaped around everything you do and i think its amazing how "if you work for it you can have it" is a saying we all shrug off. when realistically i am fortunate enough to be living in a positive light of this. Great work , great friends, great family, everyday .

.
Beer is a lot like Hockey, when you are Young, your dad loves it and you don't understand why. But as i found myself driving my car down the street listening to am radio so i could catch the last period of the Montreal game, i realized you grow to love the taste, and you eventually find yourself in a play off rivalry that you cant get yourself out of. Also as im sure you notice with Beer and Hockey comes AM radio. we wont go there.

I decided to take a new way home from my friends house on thursday night. as i was listening to the game end on the radio, i decided to drive by the bell centre. not putting two and two together. (4 for those who are wondering ) It was a home game for the habs. so STUPID ME , i catch myself thinking "why are there 4 cops on every street intersection for blocks and blocks. " maybe because sometimes boston and montreal like to have riots ? or maybe because i was to into the game to realize that in about 2 minutes a tidal wave of people was about to come swarming down the street not caring about a single vehicle . RIDICULOUS.

And now that the weather is beautiful out (when its not snowing -ahem- )
At work we decided to start eating lunch outside in the sun since we don't have a lot of windows its great to be able to get some sunlight into your day. So today (friday - aka the day after the boston / montreal game ) we are outside enjoying our lunch innocently, and a "gentlemen" comes up and asks us in broken french (even though he was clearly french ) "avez vous use dollaire ? " (do you have a dollar)
we asked "what is it for"
the wonderfully presented man says over his giant gut " its for beer "
we reply with "sorry sir , not going to happen"
again he says " its for food ? " -at this point he's not even sure how he's going to get the dollar , he's asking statements . making me try not to laugh
Tim says "here have this banana i already ate my lunch"
*man takes banana* *stands there awkwardly inhaling banana*
(now at this point you have to understand that the conversation didn't happen as fast as you just read it here, this took like 10 minutes, it was slow and nothing less than awkward. and he is smoking a gigantic cigar in our area where we are TRYING to enjoy our lunch and some fresh air )
This Beautifully sculpted man then pulls up his sweatshirt to reveal a boston bruins shirt , when i say "uh oh, might not want to take off that hoodie around here "
when he asks "why is there a problem,? "
…long story short, we had no way of putting this time back into our day, it was just lost time.
at which point it got awkward and he was just lingering so Marco asked him nicely with his aggressive german accent "excuse me sir, can you please get your cigar the F*&& out of my face, im eating my lunch …. "

I was so proud of marco.

what can we pull from this story. there ARE boston fans in montreal, but they don't have jobs . go habs go

Road trips on Rogue ships

The weekends .
so its been a couple weeks or so since my last blog.

Last weekend we went to vermont. we were hosted by a few skate friends that were really fun to hang out with. really happy to meet some new skaters and we skated some fun freeride spots. in retrospect. the fact that vermont is only 2 hours away and all i can see is amazing mountain passes. this adds a whole new awesome to the summer. enjoy this video i put together that sums up our skating.

In the states they have some crazy energy drink options . my advice : just avoid them. some rockstar flavours come with options like "with a straw" or "double the caffeine " … impressive. also . although the Canadian dollar is so good right now i learned quickly in stores this doesn't matter, and nobody has debit. still… yep so if you HAD to spend some canadian it was worth 80cents to them . just a tip (lesson learned) , take out some american money from your bank before going from now on :)
But once again i thank the awesome people who helped us have a good time in their great country :)

This weekend was BABC or Boarders Against Breast Cancer . where hosted on the third floor of a beautiful venue right downtown toronto, you could find me and about 200 other people drinking lots of beer to support the cause. The night was electric. 25$ entry and cheap beer all night. The Raffles seemed endless, i actually think there may have been more prizes than people. The amount of support from all the companies was absolutely incredible.

I will post a link for the pictures or videos once they are put together :)

So Primo Andrea Mia and Me all went and Primo won… well everything. We were impressed he won two of the raffles and took home a whollleee bunchh of awesome stuff! yay primo , free food and cookies and a giant pink couch.
there are just to many stories to tell about this night that if you want to hear more you'll have to call me. so much fun .

Saturday - Went for breakfast with Dustin in Barrie. really nice to sit down with him and chat for a bit i miss him and his wife. they are such great people.
At night (830) it was earth hour. so we unplugged all the .. well actually we unplugged everything in primes apartment and lit candles and proceeded to play jenga . thats right we played a game made of wood over candles.
not all bad though it was fun and only a few ended up with wax on them . oh and the beer.
Also special thanks to primo for putting up with us for a couple nights i miss this dude and our crazy adventures so its always fun to get to hang out.

Sunday - Brunch - My dad came and met me in toronto for brunch WHAT AN AMAZING morning :) couldn't ask for better. sat in a restaurant Dad Mia and I. No one else in the place except the waitress and the cook .
So big thanks to Him for coming so far :)

The board swap / Slide competition. This…. it went well. i sold ALOT of boards and gear for kebbek , ambitious , myself, and friends in QC . It was amazing seeing all my ontario skate friends again and it was even more great that we got to have a slide competition together . But it was even more fun ACTUALLY skating with them ! and when we skate, we skate hard. The slide competition was a blast. you can see how all your friends have progressed. for some , the winter is a time to snowboard or take time off from skateboarding. but for a lot of my friends . almost every single one of them went to California, BC , or some other much warmer country to get in some riding while we were all here freezing our… well knees off due to how much snow we had!

So proud of everyones riding this weekend keep up the awesome.

Special Thanks to Mia for putting up with me for a few days :) you rock ! :D and thanks again to primo for putting us all up for the couple nights!

So check out the video links i post and i will have some pictures up soon too!

Adventure #83

Sunday was a nice day. Not to cold. streets started to dry up and i realized. yes. this week i will skate in montreal for the first time since i moved.

On wednesday we had a group of 10 riders go out and ride montreal underground. this is not like "montreal underground parking garage" this is LITERALLY montreal tunnels and passages from subways to stores and hotels. Also we did find some Parkades to enjoy :) we skated for what seemed like only a couple hours and ended up very exhausted. i looked at the time and realized we had ACTUALLY be skating for 5.5 hours. uh-maze-ing :D

But on the sunday i previously mentioned i had promised something more to myself. that i would YES, skate to work. well friday came and i realized. THE DEADLINE IS HERE. it wasnt snowing this morning at 8. which would have been a good time to head to work. but insteAd i left at 10:15. It had started to just sprinkle snow. no big deal. It was still nice and warm out so i knew i would have no problems with cold. so i left my house AND WENT FOR GOLD ! I can only wish that it was a race because honestly most people would have given up in this situation. So 17 KM From my apartment to my work. start off the season strong right? no big deal? usually my average speed is 23-25 KM/hour pushing. The snow storm set in and by the last 5 KM there was barely any road for me to use. but i made it just in time. luckily i brought a change of clothes to work with me. Tim opened the door when I showed up and all he said was "you are a brave man"

I figure I could describe the whole trip but I am going to summarize.
go south. go east. go south. go east. rinse repeat .
I skated through an area i had never been before. I found myself stopping in front of City hall. every building within 1KM of this place is magnificent to look at . just incredible eye candy for architecture. anyone who saw me either gave me the thumbs up or pointed me out to a friend.

It was a very interesting time to say the least. probably won't do that again if i dont have to but it definitely made my day :)
a picture is worth a thousand words so here is a picture that might give you an idea of what i went through

it was nuts.

but alas i was warm and i didnt lose my grin the entire skate :)

my apartment

I know you have all been waiting to see what it looks like so i am going to post some pictures here for you .

Things are really good here im loving my jobs, and im a busy little bee. Some days more than others.

hope you like ! sorry it took so long :)

weeeeeekkkeeenndd

Saturday was a really relaxing day. i went and talked to Ian (my new boss) signed all my forms and saw all the shops i will be working at. its all very interesting. we hung out for about 4 hours and really had a good chat about just about everything
saturday night me and a friend slept at emilies house. This night had snow removal on my street but the OPPOSTE side of the street this time. so parking at her place was wayyyy easier. And the couch was soooooo comfy pretty awesome . watched step brothers before i slept and caught up on some emails. cant go wrong.
Sunday morning we woke up at 530 to go to the land of the free. thats right . canada. BUT THEN we went to USA vermont . I just got my first passport last friday . a little nervous using it for the first time. BUT all was well. we got across with little hassle. Stopped at a gas station where i pulled out some american money for some breakfast and lift ticket. Not realizing emilie had already bought us tickets NOW IM STUCK WTIH 80 F***ING AMERICAN DOLLARS.. not impressed. (by the end of the trip i convinced both of my friends to take the american money at par. such good friends ..the dollar is even RIGHT….not to convert it . )

The hill we went to was Jay Peak. this mountain gets more snow than montreal due to a phenomenon known as the "jay cloud" or as you know it "the snow belt" like in barrie but wayyyy cooler. well saturday night when i went to emilies the snow was epic. so much snow we had to dig out the car in the morning. we left early knowing that the jay cloud would provide much more snow… two ays earlier what i thought was the best day for snowboarding was destroyed by the riding we did at jay peak. knee deep powder. a couple times found it up to my waist. never saw the back of my snow board all day.. This mountain is even bigger than Bromont t. The pass is not a lift ticket other its a little cardthat you put in your pants/jacket/ mits When you go to the chairlift you pass through a gate. your pass has a magnetic chip that can only be activated for a certain amount of time. when you get to the gate it senses that you have a ticket and opens a bar so you can enter the lift area. then you wait to load on. honestly. crazy . Never knew these kind of shenanigans were going on task hills.

So we did a lot of forest runs. i got some deep fresh powder runs, got stuck in some tree wells. left the boundary. hiked in the boundary to the peak . so much snow. epic.
The east coast DOES have mountains. they may be old. they may be few. but they are VERY VERY there. and they are very serious. with the height they are at now. i would love to see what they used to be.

The Return

With more than enough food in the car, and a lot of people missing me, I Drove back to quebec. Montreal to be exact.

I get back to Montreal and the last 10 minutes instead took me 30 minutes because the highway was closed due to : snow removal. I get to my street that has parking on the left parking on the right and not a lot of room for driving. people don't care that there is a foot of snow on the ground. they are still going to parallel park. they drive as fast as they can and wedge their cars up on the snow. to the point that they are stuck. out of 100 cars i would honestly say 80 of them are stuck. tow trucks are rolling in money here. i couldn't jam my own car into the spot out front of my apartment so i had to park a couple blocks away.

In the morning. i wasn't stuck but an old lady was. so i offered in english to help her. and she accepted in french. (i live in a very french area of town. ) she grabs this strange red apparatus made of metal with 4 hinge points (picture below ) sticks it in front of her wheel and PULLS AWAY . her car was completely wedged with snow underneath . i don't get it. strange apparatus or what i found out over the next 12 hours is the most important tool to every driver in montreal.

With my car out of the spot now i was able to un pack. and RE pack for SNOWBOARDING =D

SO I DROVE ALL THE WAY TO … the south end. Myfriends drove to and from Bromont. it was AWESOME

bromont is a small mountain. only 2x the size of Blue mountain. to say the least my arches were sore in my feet. Some amazing riding. lots of fresh snow up to my knees. what i knew to be the best day of snowboarding for my season… or so i thought. (next blog)

Friday was snow removal. you can only park on one side of our street. A street in which is already packed on both sides. So i went to Dmitris for a couple beers and slept on his couch as there was ALOT of parking in his end of town. we had fun and got carried away . a whole bunch of skaters came over and chilled . so fun .

SNOW REMOVAL…NOTE:

Step one - place signs up to not park between 19h - 7h (7PM - 7 AM )
step two - sometime between 7 and 7 a tow truck comes through WAILING his horn beep-beep-beep-beep=beep-beep. so you know snow removal is coming to your street Very Very soon.
step three - and this is the tricky one - AGAIN a tow truck comes through wailing his horn . THIS TIME with several tow trucks following him.. if at this point you are still parked in the no parking side of the street they tow your car.
step four = oh no my car ! if you are a lucky fellow and you are dumb enough to get towed they must take it to the impound right ? WRONG. your car. is towed AT MOST 4 OR 5 BLOCKS AWAY. pretty sweet huh ? so you don't have to pay impound fees. they record where your car is. BUT if you walk around and find your car you are lucky. if you don't find your car.you call the towing company. when they tell you where your car is THEN you owe them money. pretty sweet huh ? NOT

im glad i knew all this before hand . kind of makes me remember how good life is when its not your car getting towed.

The family - gotta love 'em

Arrived in barrie sunday night save and sound. slept on the couch at my old place and got up bright and early to my stupid EX ROOMATE (thank god this is the last time i have to write about him) cutting bacon with his fork. So if you are a fan of utensils scratching on porcelain / nails on a chalk board . This would have been your lucky day, not mine. Got up and packed what i had left to move in my car and pulled it out of the driveway where it had sat for the past three days. so much snow i had to get in the passengers side and jump the console.
and of we go

Its monday, what could possibly go wrong. I was supposed to go snowboarding with some friends all day and all night but after some very head turning news, i decided i would go straight to london instead. That night i had dinner at Moms, good ol fashioned pizza. Can't go wrong.
Tuesday. i woke up bright and early at 9:30 , went phone shopping with Stacey. We had fun and apparently I'm good at making Friends. As the gentlemen helping us and myself bashed iPhone for a solid half hour :) After, I went for brunch with the my Nana and Grampa where they shared some stories of when they used to live in montreal. it was quite neat to see pictures between then and now. "i used to walk across the street to school each day" said nana "but now there is a 6 lane highway, i'd never make it" Kind of a cool statement.
One of the pictures was of my grandfathers old house in verdun. HUGE front yard HUGE backyard and quite literally it had side yards. a lot of property. Verdun now… building to building to building…
After lunch i went to the doctors. i had a very cute swedish nurse taking blood. she asked me "Vould you like to lay down?" and before i said yes. i realized, we weren't thinking the same thing. My first time having blood taken . its pretty cool stuff.
Wednesday . Dinner at dads. Driving from london to ingersol my car decides "hey its time to suck…" so the wheel gets all janky . i pull over, no flats, no bent rims, everything looks alright. somethings hanging from under my car, coolant on the ground. ef
So i took my time getting to ingersol. went to canadian tire with my car and said "please look at this right away" . they gave me the usual canadian tire "not to worry we'll get it in as soon …. as its inconvenient for you " =D So i was not thrilled at 11 o clock thursday morning when i had to go get my car and take it to another shop because they STILL had not looked at it.
I THOUGHT YOU WERE DIFFERENT CANADIAN TIRE BUT YOU'RE JUST ANOTHER CHEAP FRANCHISE LIKE THE LAST. ...im breaking up with you

on that note.

much love

ONWARD and UPWARD

So I rented a U haul and if you have ever rented a u haul you know some of the most important people in this country are running that company.   so after dealing with sketchy people with half as many teeth as who are reading this.   It took us 2 hours to be able to actually LEAVE with the trailer. AFTER paper work.  Parked the Trailer for the night at my place Thursday and then took my pool table …away …

We went to my Friend Scotts and …dealt with the situation.   yea we burned it. it was amazing.    enjoyed a good time with scott for a couple hours and said good bye

Friday morning i got up early and started packing.  How i lifted everything myself i don't know but i was not about to use my roommate for help.  Pete Kept offering but i just kept denying.  and he just kept getting in the way  .  So glad i don't have to deal with his stupidity anymore :)

so i finally got it all packed .   But because we had left the trailer at my place and unhooked it from the truck for the day.   when keenan came over we realized we could no longer lift up the hitch to get it on the truck .  U'haul doesn't give you a crank wheel. or any type of hoist so we had a bit of a delay .  Had to use a car jack and a brick. but we got it on . and to my surprise no injuries :D

On the road we went through toronto with no problems.  we got almost to kingston and had police escorts slowing traffic so people wouldn't drive off the road we saw about 7 cars in the ditch in about 4 or 5 km .   so you can assume the conditions were bad, but you would be assuming wrong. The roads were clear, the temperature was warm, and there was good visibility.  The reason people were driving in the ditch,  stupidity i believe is what they were calling for in the forecast .
once we got through the escorted areas we made it to montreal and to my place by 1030 at night only 2 hours behind what we had estimated. By midnight we had completely unpacked and were getting ready to go to a party. we never went partying. we were exhausted.

my room is nice , its smaller than my last room but somehow everything manages to fit

Saturday we had a relaxer day .   just chilled until the party at  night my friend maxime came over and hung out for a few hours.  We were invited for dinner at my friend AJ's house where his girlfriend prepared an amazing lasagna for all of us . we brought wine and we all had a blast.  After dinner we went to a bar called The vinyl (en francais = le vinyl) Which was an interesting bar.  they charged us five dollars and it looked like it would collapse at any moment. the only good thing about this bar was the company. So many skateboarders and friends came out to welcome me.  It was a lot of fun .   Even my new boss (ian ) came out which really meant a lot to me and some of my new coworkers. so that was really cool to me .
we switched bars and had some food. stayed up till easily 4 am. getting up the stairs to my apartment is a stretch.  they are spiral stairs. with short steps and carpet on them which the snow loves to get into and create ice :D ive already fallen down once. and it was right after making a smart ass comment. about falling down the stairs. KARMA …yea.

Sunday
I bought breakfast for keenan , dim and kale,  now it is time to head back to barrie, go snowboard tomorrow, then visit my family :) fantastic.

apples have come a lot further than just laws of gravity

Things are going good about 60% of my stuff is packed. Going to get my passport this week . and also excited to see the dentist :D

nothing new except this story below
K$

I went to the apple store.
I had never been.

So I've been building boards for a year and a half now and in the past several months i have been saving money like crazy from board building in hopes of buying a mac book.  finally i had the money .
i drove down to Toronto and as im walking around with a breast pocket full of 1500$ my face is red.
Thats right I payed cash for it. So all i can think as i walk through the mall is "EVERYONE IS GOING TO MUG ME ohhhh myyy godddddd " .  It wasn't till much later I realized that in yorkdale mall I probably had the least money compared to everyone else.

I went in and found an apple associate.  his name was iRonny    ... ok just Ronny
"hey Ronny i wanna buy a macbook pro"
Ronny  -" ok ."

me and him stood there for 20 minutes and chatted about how his business card is a real chick magnet  "oh my gosh you work for apple tee hee "   is pretty much how he described it.
Finally i asked "so am i getting a mac book? "   and almost before i could finish the sentence .  a man who had just walked out from the back of the store walked straight over to us and said "Hey ronny this is for you " and hands him exactly what i asked for.

He then rang me through. in a store with no cash registers and im paying cash . This is where it gets intense  .  you see ronny was doing everything from an ipod touch the whole time. the ipod touch scanned the computer box, gave me a $ total and so i said "ok but im paying cash and im alittle nervous cause there are alot of people in the mall staring around. "

so we move to the opposite end of the table.  For me . this made no sense till i paid him . I pulled out the amount i needed and handed it to Ronny .  he entered the cash value into his ipod touch when WA-PAW!
A cash drawer pops out from under a table we are standing at in the middle of the store .
Turns out he took me to the closest cash drawer. the table even printed receipts it was ridiculous !

it looked like a normal table...

what ive learned... no matter what you do. steve jobs is always one up on you .... oh and hes a magician

The Beginning...halfway through

So! its 2011. were off to a good start. lots of big plans ahead, and lots of things behind me.  Moving to montreal in T -15 days .  So excited for the new jobs, and all the friends I've made / will be making.   I'm sure this will all be one wild ride.

Today i gave my 2 weeks notice.  my boss didnt really get it at first. Less of a reaction than I anticipated.   Thats ok I'm going to be hearing all about it for the next two weeks.

I started packing early last week. Been getting rid of Everything not needed.  Selling lots of stuff to avoid having to ship it with me. which has been awesome cause it has been keeping my money situation in a good spot too!

Trying to use up the last of my materials for board building so i dont have to Lug that as well.

On top of everything I have been trying to return anything I have borrowed from anyone or told them they could have.

So for the next two weeks I am MR. carpenter/delivery guy/ mechanic/ moving guy/chef.

and somehow in there im also supposed to be fitting in partying with the guys before i leave HAH .
